Debut EP junkyard of lost hearts

Melbourne/Naarm duo Fountain Lakes return this August with their debut EP, Junkyard of Lost Hearts. Bringing together previous singles Castaway and Cry Wolf, alongside two new tracks; Junkyard of Lost Hearts and Medicated Love, the four-song collection moves between indie folk, dream pop and country, with intertwined vocals, shimmering guitars and spacious arrangements that are laid back, sweet and full of regret.
Fountain Lakes celebrate the release of Junkyard of Lost Hearts, with a full band show on Friday 14 August, 7.30pm at the Railway Hotel, Fitzroy North (TICKETS). Enlisting the help of recording buddies, Nick O’Mara (Raised by Eagles), Mark Monnone (ex- Lucksmiths / Monnone Alone) and Gus Franklin (Smallgoods / Monnone Alone).
Opening the night is cinematic tonemaster, Simon Bailey (Pony Face).
The show will be the duo's last Melbourne show before heading to Fish Factory Creative Centre in Stöðvarfjörður, Iceland, where they will spend a month writing their debut album.
