Fountain Lakes announce a very special Melbourne show on August 14th at the Railway Hotel Ballroom, Fitzroy North, to celebrate the release of thei debut EP ‘Junkyard of Lost Hearts’ out Aug 7th. Joining onstage are friends and recording buddies Nick O’Mara on guitar, Mark Monnone on base and Gus Franklin on drums. Simon Bailey opening is opening the night. For 18 years, Simon has been fronting the Naarm indie dreamscape outfit Pony Face, releasing five albums, three EPs, and a collection of instrumental film soundtracks titled Moonscapes, available on vinyl through Pony Face Records. Across his career, Bailey has appeared on Spicks and Specks and has performed, written, and recorded with Mo'Ju backed by symphony orchestras across multiple Australian states. He has shared stages with artists including Lee Ranaldo, Bombino, Liz Stringer, Chris Wilson, and Matt Walker.
